The
Technical Project Manager – AI & Data
plays a key role in planning and delivering AI/ML, Data & BI projects across the organization.
This role ensures initiatives are well-structured, timelines are met, and execution aligns with business priorities.
Working closely with AI engineers, Data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders, the Technical Project Manager brings structure, visibility, and coordination to cross-functional efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
: Own the planning and execution of AI/ML, Data & BI projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Facilitate project meetings, monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and address blockers to keep initiatives on track.
Technical Guidance
: Provide technical guidance and direction to the project team, helping them make informed decisions to ensure technical feasibility.
Cross-Functional Coordination
: Facilitate collaboration across the AI and Data teams, engineering, tech and business teams.
Ensure roles and responsibilities are clear, meetings are effective, and communication is streamlined.
Tracking & Reporting
: Maintain up-to-date project documentation and timelines.
Provide regular status updates, surface risks, and support preparation of briefings and reports for leadership.
Operational Support
: Contribute to the development of delivery frameworks, templates, and planning processes for the AI & Data function.
Support quarterly planning, resource coordination, and standardization of reporting practices.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in technical project management and/or AI product development, preferably in tech, data, or AI environments
Strong background in AI/ML and Data with proven technical knowledge of AI/ML & Data lifecycle and an ability to learn new technical domains (a technical background is a huge plus)
Experience managing complex multi-country projects with proven ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to planning and execution.
Clear and effective communicator, able to coordinate across both technical and non-technical stakeholders and with ability to lead and drive multi-cultural teams
Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity.
Experience supporting program operations such as planning cycles, reporting, or process improvement is a plus.
