Key Responsibilities
Install fire sprinkler pipework systems within large industrial environments
Install plant equipment including fire pumps, valves and pumphouse pipework
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on systems such as fire pumps and sprinkler alarm valves
Install and repair carbon steel, ductile iron and PVC pipework
Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently
Promote and maintain high health and safety standards on site
Deliver high-quality service while working closely with construction and project teams
Required
Previous experience working on construction sites
Qualification in fitting, plumbing, fabrication or a related trade
Strong understanding of pipework systems, components and assembly
Knowledge of mechanical systems and how they operate
Experience working to safety standards on large-scale construction sites
Desirable
Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Height and MEWP certifications
Basic computer skills for online site inductions
Experience with pipework threading and grooving
Strong communication skills with a reliable, organised approach to work
