About the Role The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Flogas Enterprise will play a pivotal role in driving growth, strengthening commercial relationships, and expanding the Enterprise customer base.
This role serves as a key commercial interface between Flogas and its business customers, ensuring the delivery of high-value energy solutions across supply, solar, renewables, and energy efficiency offerings.
The BDM will proactively seek new businessopportunities andcollaborate withKeyAccount Managers to protect andupsellkey strategic customers.
The role combines account management, solution selling, market intelligence, and new business prospecting, requiring an energetic, customer-focused professional who canrepresentFlogas Enterprise with credibility and commercial acumen.
KeyResponsibilities: Manage relationships with assigned Enterprise accounts, ensuringhigh levelsof satisfaction and long-term retention.
Engage proactively and consistently with customers to strengthen loyalty,identifyneeds, and maximise contract longevity.
Work alongsideKeyAccount Managers to support the management of key and strategic accounts.
Develop deep customer insight to understand operational, commercial, and strategic requirements.
Deliver agreed new business sales targets within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling energy solutions.
Conduct structured cold-calling and outbound lead generation (approximately70% of role) toidentifynew prospects and build a healthy pipeline.
Identifyand create opportunities to introduceadditionalFlogas products and services across the customer base.
Lead tender responses and proposals toretaincustomers when contracts come up for renewal.
Work closely with the sales leadership team to support sales campaigns, pricing exercises, and value-led solution proposals.
Prepare high-quality written proposals, quotations, margin analyses, and comparative pricing models toFlogasstandards.
Collaborate with Marketing to organise and deliver customer seminars, training sessions, and relevant industry events.
Gather, analyse, and share market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer trends, and emerging opportunities.
Provideaccurateandtimelysales reporting and forecasting to management.
Contribute feedback and insight to support new product development and ensure solutions meet evolving market needs.
Represent Flogas Enterprise at corporate entertainment, networking, and industry events, including occasional evenings and weekend activities.
Build strong professional networks to enhance brand presence andidentifynew business opportunities.
Support the development of new energy solutions by feeding market feedback into product specifications.
Act as a subject matter advocate for Flogas energy offerings, including supply, lighting, solar, energy management, renewables, and efficiency projects.
Work independently with high accountability while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrate strong initiative, commercial awareness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.
