Job Overview:
A leading materials science and digital identification solutions company is expanding its team in Longford. They are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join their site on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Integrating EHS management systems to maintain safe operating conditions and environmental protection.
* Tracking and reporting regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
* Using structured processes to measure and communicate safety and environmental performance.
* Maintaining relevant logs and records.
* Coordinating accident prevention programs and implementing education and training.
* Representing the company in Process Safety Management (PSM) related matters.
* Supporting facility safety teams and conducting inspections to ensure conformance to safety standards.
* Driving continuous improvement and delivering strong results from behavioral-based processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS with a relevant qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in complex EHS work assignments with progressive complexity, depth, and scope.
* Advanced professional EHS certification preferred but not required.
* Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
* Strong project resolution skills and understanding of applicable computer systems.
* Strategic thinking and leadership skills with good interpersonal communication.
