Job Opportunity:
* Maintain, repair and service plant equipment and machinery.
* Work collaboratively with site and maintenance teams to develop and execute a regional preventative maintenance plan.
* Diagnose malfunctions and return equipment to operational status efficiently.
* Perform component rebuilds, testing, and monitor spare part usage.
* Record all repair activity and ensure efficient parts handling practices.
* Lead by example in all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
* Identify and report hazards, incidents and maintain a proactive approach to safety.
Requirements:
* A trade or relevant mechanical qualification.
* At least 1 year experience in quarrying, concrete, recycling, or similar industrial settings.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with heavy equipment repair tools and techniques highly advantageous.
* Welding and fabrication skills beneficial.
* Familiarity with rigging, slinging and jacking procedures.
* Strong planning and problem-solving mindset with ability to meet deadlines.
