Job Hours: Full Time (39 hours)
Job Purpose
To promote the development of independent living skills, and to assist service users in their daily living within a supported accommodation service, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Minimum Education & Skills Required
1. Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care, or equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years previous experience of working with people with a disability
3. A clear understanding of the philosophy of independent living and community integration
4. Good communication skills and the ability to self-direct
5. A full clean driving licence
Job Duties & Responsibilities
1. To collate, assess, and intervene with information and expertise for the purpose of developing an individualized community support service
2. To document information, update records, and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes
3. To ensure all interaction with clients is approached with dignity, respect, equality and incorporates choice

Salary: Starting from point 1 €30,916.28 - point 5 €32,518.82 (pro rata), depending on experience.
