Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Wedding and Event Coordinator. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role:
* Manage Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up.
* Couple Meetings: Meet with couples and event clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.
* Event Planning: Plan, coordinate, and manage weddings, corporate meetings, and special events, ensuring flawless service delivery.
* Liaison with Internal Departments: Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, operations, reservations, accounts) to ensure seamless communication and efficient event execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Creative Approach: Bring a creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach to event planning and coordination.
* Negotiation Skills: Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in event management systems an asset.
