This lead role will be responsible for overseeing data quality across internal data domains and leading a team of onshore and offshore resources. It will require the development and implementation of data quality frameworks, drive data ownership across internal data domains, lead data quality remediation, and influence data architecture decisions to support accurate and consistent data flows. This role ensures high data quality, robust governance, and effective stewardship across the organisation, supporting the full Client Engagement value cycle. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight. ResponsibilitiesProvides subject matter expertisewithin the domain the end to enddata flow, dependenciesand standards.Lead a team of data stewards responsible for internal and third-partydata managementOversee data lifecycle management of master and reference data in compliance with Network standards.Define, monitorand report on data quality KPIs and remediation activitiesDrive data governance and compliance across internal data domains ensuring that data domain owners, SME's and data stewards maintaintheir accountability and responsibility for their internal dataDevelops plans to meet data quality goals and ensure delivery of data steward activitiesDevelop supporting data policy guidance documentation with respect to Internal Data and Third-PartyData ManagementTake a leaddatarole on business operations solutionstransformation programmes managingdata remediation activities and supplementary resources delivering to this workEnsure approvals are obtained from Data Governance on key decisions through the preparation of position papers and/or presentationsEstablish additionaldata domain governance and operationalise as neededActs as a single point of contact with the GCDOand territory data quality communityfor networkdata managementof internal and third-partydata.Manageany change to internaldata management operational ownership orchanges in processes or responsibilities.Education/Professional Qualifications:Candidates to have minimum a third level qualification (a qualification in data management desirable)Experience & Skills RequiredMinimum 6+ years in data management roleStrong experience of data quality management and leading data steward teamsExperience and/or knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK (Data management body of knowledge)Strong understanding of end-to-end data flows and system integrationRelevant industry experience in defining and establishingdata management strategies and implementationsData domain expertiseacross the client engagement value cycle with a strong understanding of the systems of record, end to end Data business processes and rules for the impacted internal domain.Experience in developing project plans, setting priorities, and manage resources effectively.Experience of working with a high performing team and delivering to deadlinesStrong influencing skills with an ability to persuade stakeholders to adopt data quality practices and make the necessary business process changesAbility to guide stakeholders through transitions, reducing resistance and building support.Strong understanding the impact of data on customer experience and tailoring data management practices to enhance it.Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide rangeofstakeholdersExcellent analytical and problem solvingskillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written, with storytellingDemonstrates enthusiasm & commitment to workAbility to adapt to change and escalate problems as appropriate usinginitiative and discretionAbility to develop business relationships internally and externallyDemonstrates a commitment to quality and integrityProactive work approach and ability to demonstrategood judgementUnlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together We'reinspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
