Job Overview
WALK supported living services are delivered across various locations in Dublin, comprising different models of support, including shared living, individual living arrangements, 24/7 staffed supports, and non-sleepover staffing. Some services are registered under HIQA, others are not.
The Team Coordinator is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating these models, ensuring person-centred approaches and supporting service reform. The role operates with minimal supervision, collaborating closely with the Director of Supported Living Services and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support teams to deliver effective, person-centred support aligned with WALK's values.
* Identify and address barriers to achieving positive outcomes for service users.
* Manage service delivery processes, including supporting individuals and families.
* Promote best practices, service development, and continuous improvement.
* Plan staffing requirements, monitor performance indicators, and ensure policy adherence.
* Participate in on-call services and guide staff responses outside of direct management hours.
Essential Criteria
* Third-level qualification in social care or related field.
* Minimum of three years experience leading social care teams.
* Experience supporting people with complex needs in community settings.
Desirable Criteria
* Management qualification.
* Experience with intellectual disabilities and person-centred systems like POMS, CQL, PQASSO.
* Experience in coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
