About Your New Job:
EHS Support:
As an EHS Advisor, you will provide day-to-day EHS support on-site, adapting to meet the dynamic needs of the project.
Implementation of EHS Systems:
You will drive the implementation of EHS systems, wellbeing initiatives, and policies to meet defined performance targets and KPIs.
Regulatory Compliance:
You will ensure compliance with Irish and regional EHS regulations and internal procedures.
Team Collaboration:
You will collaborate closely with site teams to maintain alignment and promote a strong safety culture.
Incident Investigation:
You will support the investigation and analysis of incidents, facilitating lessons learned.
Continuous Improvement:
You will lead and promote continuous improvements across EHS systems and site practices.
Regulatory Coordination:
You will coordinate with regulatory bodies and clients during inspections, audits, and reviews.
Hazard Identification:
You will offer expert advice to site teams on hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies.
EHS Data Reporting:
You will gather and report EHS data and performance metrics accurately and on time.
Training Initiatives:
You will support the delivery of EHS training initiatives and raise awareness across the project.
Scheduled Inspections:
You will participate in scheduled inspections, audits, and safety walkdowns to ensure compliance and best practices are upheld.
Project Documentation:
You will contribute to project documentation, ensuring all activities align with company values and safety standards.
What You Need:
Experience:
3+ years of EHS experience in construction or engineering is required.
Qualification:
A recognised 3rd level EHS qualification or related field is necessary.
Certifications:
Relevant EHS accreditations/certifications, such as IOSH, are expected.
Driving License:
A full clean EU driving licence is required.
ISO Knowledge:
Knowledge of ISO standards and relevant certification processes is beneficial.
