Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Distribution Operations, the Operations Manager (Distribution Centre) is responsible for coordinating and executing key distribution activities to meet corporate metrics.
The Role:
* Ensure maximum customer delivery performance.
* Lead and manage the distribution team globally to meet corporate requirements.
* Support Engineering, Production, and Inventory functions by mentoring and developing teams to achieve company goals.
* Lead the EHS team to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards.
* Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives and standardized processes across global distribution centers.
* Serve as a key contact and escalation point for internal teams and stakeholders.
* Manage distribution center performance against industry standards, trends, and practices.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial, Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical Engineering) or a related discipline with industry experience.
Experience:
* 5-10 years of proven leadership in operations within a similar industry, with at least 3 years managing teams in distribution, manufacturing, or related sectors.
* Ability to build stakeholder relationships and collaborate across teams with a customer-focused approach.
* Strong understanding of business processes, process improvement, and automation.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of data analytics.
* Demonstrated leadership and positive employee engagement.
* Solution-oriented mindset, capable of identifying issues and proposing solutions while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
* Solid understanding of health and safety practices.
* Successful track record in implementing continuous improvement projects.
