Our client, based Limerick, is seeking a
Management Accountant
to join their expanding team on a
permanent basis
.
This is a hands-on, business-partnering role within a precision manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with operations, finance, and senior leadership to support cost control, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making — all while developing your own career in an organisation that rewards initiative.
Who we are seeking
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* 2–3 years' experience in a manufacturing finance or cost accounting environment
* Someone with genuine
curiosity
— interested in why variances happen, not just where
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage across departments
* Experience with ERP systems (desirable but not essential)
* A self-starter who enjoys solving problems, not just identifying them
Overview of the responsibilities
* Lead monthly operational reporting and cost variance analysis
* Calculate standard product costs and monitor margin performance
* Provide KPI insights to guide operational improvements and efficiency gains
* Prepare key journal entries and support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Collaborate on audit preparation and act as finance lead on process improvement projects
