Responsibilities
Working in a general consultative capacity within a corporate setting using a preventative, psycho-educational approach with individual workers and groups of workers
Innovating and contributing to the development of services to promote the psychological well‑being of all service users
Communicating effectively and working in co‑operation with team members and others
Working within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct, and clinical governance
Being aware of and referring clients to appropriate services as necessary
Keeping up to date with evidence‑based and CPD related to clinical work
Writing and maintaining clear client case notes, reports and collecting statistics in line with company policy
Using a client management system to manage client appointments
Part of the job role may involve drafting articles to be used for content on the Spectrum Mental Health website and other marketing collateral
Qualifications
Recognised qualification in psychotherapy, preferably with post‑qualification experience, working therapeutically with individual adults
Master's Degree in Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychology; Therapeutic Counselling; Psychotherapy; Clinical Social Work
B. Graduate Member of PSI, or fully accredited with IACP, IICP, IAHIP or ICP
Minimum 3 years of post‑graduate experience
Current professional indemnity insurance
Excellent administration and organisational skills
Proficient with Technology/IT or willingness to learn
Flexibility and adaptability with an ability to work within changing, growing and evolving services
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with an openness to sharing ideas and learning from others
Fluent English Level B2 Advanced required
Flexible attitude to changing work practices
Desirable Competencies
Experience running groups and/or giving presentations
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Past experience managing people
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills
