Location: Ballinasloe, Co. Galway; Ballydangan, Co. Roscommon and surrounding areas
Job Type: Flexible hours available Monday to Sunday 8 am to 10 pm
Pay: Rate of pay from €14.35 per hour plus loyalty bonus; bi‑weekly payment.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with all facets of daily living in their home, providing personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving, and transferring.
Provide care for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and high‑dependency patients; prompt medication and address light housework/basic shopping needs.
Adhere to the client’s Care Plan and facilitate social interactions, offering companionship.
Observe, listen, and engage with clients to foster positive relationships with them and their families.
Be punctual, manage time efficiently, and uphold confidentiality policy.
Communicate any changes or concerns regarding client needs/care to the office and document incidents.
Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of at least 2 modules: OOI Care Skills and OOI Care of the Older Person, or a minimum of one year’s experience in a healthcare setting.
International Police Clearance Certificate if applicable.
Willingness to undergo a medical examination for a fitness certificate.
Holding a full driver’s licence and owning transport.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliability, dedication, diligence, and trustworthiness.
A good understanding of GDPR, especially its importance in working with the elderly.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
