Full job descriptionMaintenance TechnicianOur partner is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team at a world-renowned precision engineering company. This role will play a key role in supporting the Production Manager to ensure the successful and efficient running of the maintenance department. The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care.Responsibilities:Plan and schedule repairs, ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately undertaken and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as neededServicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, and production related equipment.Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines, monitor and continually improve maintenance processes to achieve enhanced levels of efficiencyTroubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdownsAdjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine toolsSourcing parts for repair and machine upgrades, negotiating with suppliers and liaising with equipment vendorsConducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
