Project Manager – Silent Aire
What you will do
This is a phenomenal opportunity to join our Silent Aire team at Johnson Controls as a Project Manager.
PMs are fully responsible for ensuring that the project is managed and supported in a disciplined manner across multiple stakeholders and departments, so that our customers continually receive a high-quality product and service at every step of the journey.
How you will do it
Full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across the full lifecycle – from handover from Client Account Management through to successful commissioning and handover to the client.
Work alongside and direct all departments (Design, Manufacturing, Production, Procurement, QA/QC, Mission Critical) throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsible for the project budget and gross-margin attainment across the lifecycle.
Develop pricing models across all opportunities that capture the PM & Site Execution stage of the project.
Work with the Client Account Management function at the pre-sales stage.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion to keep the project on schedule, on time and on budget.
Work and lead collaboratively with the Design and Manufacturing Engineers, Production, Procurement, QA/QC, and site teams to identify and maximize opportunities that enhance project delivery.
Accountable for the safe delivery of projects through risk and competence management and set clear deliverables for the H&S team.
Partner with other Project Management team members to align delivery with business strategic objectives and priorities.
Manage Project Engineer(s) as required, fostering a collaborative culture focused on project success.
What we look for
Experience in project management and delivery in commercial, data centre, high-tech, healthcare or manufacturing industries.
At least 7–10 years' experience delivering high-value projects in construction, M&E, civil or similar industries.
Track record of leading and driving multiple teams, including sub-contractors, to deliver projects on time, on budget and with high customer satisfaction.
Very wellorganised with attention to detail.
Action-oriented, solution-oriented.
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
Ability to work with multiple deadlines.
Proactive and driven to achieve results.
