Day Service Operations Manager

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and dynamic professional to lead the ongoing management, development, and transformation of day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and older adults. The successful candidate will oversee multiple units, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive person-centred, high-quality service provision.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Operational Management:
* Provide strategic direction and leadership in daily operations.
* Support and supervise day service managers across multiple locations.
* Lead the planning, development, and implementation of person-centred services.
* Ensure the delivery of services in line with national frameworks and standards.
2. Quality, Compliance & Governance:
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and audit processes.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
* Lead monitoring and reporting on KPIs, service outcomes, and audits.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
* Engage with families, professionals, and external agencies.
* Represent the service on external committees and professional networks.
4. Transport & Logistics:
* Oversee the operational management of all day service transport routes.
* Supervise driver and escort scheduling, and coordinate logistics for outings and appointments.
5. Staff Management & Development:
* Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team.
* Ensure effective supervision, performance management, and training.
