Job Description:
Chase Resourcing are currently seeking a number of Graduate Engineers (MEICA) for our client in Ireland. The ideal candidate will work as part of our multi-disciplinary engineering team to bring projects from initial design right through to completion and handover to the client.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time.
* Prepare detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments prior to work activities commencing.
* Engage with supplier and sub-contract chain to obtain technical proposals and pricing for their scope of supply.
* Co-ordinate sub-contractors and direct staff to ensure project delivery in-line with works programme.
* Complete daily risk assessments.
* Monitor on-site works with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
* Prepare and supervise completion of on-site test documentation such as site acceptance tests (SAT), inspection and test records (ITRs), pipe pressure testing, hydrostatic tank testing and commissioning of the works.
* Preparation and submission of project handover files.
Requirements:
* Minimum of a Level 7 Honours Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
* Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and provide input at team meetings.
* Good working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation.
* Full driving licence.
