Our Client is the leading Maintenance contractor for Motorways and National Roads in Ireland. They are looking to hire a Quality Manager to join their team.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of our existing Quality and Environmental systems. The Quality Manager is responsible for monthly reporting and the preparation of project quality packs, as-builts, and the management and recording of all testing and inspection requirements. Project quality packs are required for pavement schemes, gantry installation projects, ducting projects, works on structures, and many more.
Job Responsibilities:
As Quality Manager, you will be required to:
1. Manage and maintain the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
2. Work closely with the Safety Manager and all other departments to ensure that all processes are working and are recorded by company's IMS.
3. Manage the maintenance of current and future ISO standards.
4. Work with the wider Management team to ensure that all Quality, Environmental, and Energy Management requirements are incorporated into the decision-making processes.
5. Working with the wider Management team, prepare and submit Monthly Reports to the Client.
6. Control all data-gathering processes to facilitate the preparation of the Monthly Report.
7. Prepare and submit Yearly Reports.
8. Control the preparation and storage of all data, correspondence, and documentation.
9. Initiate the preparation of safety, quality, and design documentation for all activities and ensure it is submitted to the Client under the certification process.
10. Carry out reviews of Plans, Procedures, RAMs, etc when required.
11. Ensure management reviews are carried out at regular intervals and that objectives, targets, and risks are measured and updated each year.
12. Work with the Operations Manager to develop measuring tools for the performance of Projects, Processes, etc.
13. Prepare Quality submissions for the Client in advance of Construction or Renewal projects
Job Requirements:
14. Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
15. Minimum 3 Years of Experience within a Quality Management role.
