We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to join our Middle Office team. This individual will work closely with business units and software development teams to identify testing requirements, develop and maintain test strategies, and implement automated functional test cases.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Work with business units and software development teams to identify testing requirements
* Develop and maintain test strategies, testing scenarios, and test automation processes
* Create automated functional test cases as acceptance test criteria for enhancements and new applications
* Reproduce production problems and identify gaps in the regression test suite
* Design, develop, and implement long-term automation strategy and framework to increase test automation coverage and reduce test timelines
* Run test suits and analyze results
* Oversight of defect management by providing timely defect reporting, safekeeping, and tracking through defect-life-cycle
* Collect and communicate test execution metrics
* Participate in daily stand-up, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospective meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:
">
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of QA testing experience in automated testing, code repository, and deployment tools
* 2+ years of full-time experience in an iterative development environment using Agile-like methodology
* Expert knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* Knowledge of XML, VBScript, and Macros is an added advantage
* Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment
* Experience testing both client-server and web-based applications through one or more full life cycles of an application
* Knowledge of financial securities and trading principles
