Our client, a
privately owned Irish manufacturing company
based in
Longford
, is seeking a skilled
New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer
to lead the rollout of new products from concept to production.
This is a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and in line with
ISO 13485/14001
and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional NPI projects from design to full production
Oversee tooling, automation, and process development
Manage timelines, budgets, and customer communications
Conduct risk assessments, validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), and design reviews
Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma tools
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or related field
3–5 years' experience in NPI, manufacturing, or project engineering (ideally in injection moulding/medical devices)
Strong project management and process development skills
Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14001, SPC, and DOE
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
