Job DescriptionThe Sales Area Manager (SAM) is a proactive individual contributor with a focus on boosting revenue growth and nurturing customer success throughout Ireland. This position involves thoughtful planning, effective implementation, and working closely with NI resources, distributors, and solution & integration partners. The SAM will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive growth plan, using both direct and indirect sales channels to expand NI's market presence. Accelerate your career Apply todayIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Territory Management & Sales ExecutionDevelop and implement growth plans, such as pipeline, account planning, and forecastingIdentify and drive new business opportunitiesLead demand generation with marketing and deliver technical sales presentationsManage short- and medium-term sales cycles and operate demo hardware as neededCustomer & Partner Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with technical and executive stakeholdersAlign NI solutions with customer needs and ensure success throughout the lifecycleCollaborate with solution, integration partners, distributors, and resellersChannel & Ecosystem EngagementWork with NI's channel team to expand the partner ecosystemPropose new partnerships and support effective route-to-market strategiesFoster local LabVIEW and NI user communitiesMarket Development and PlanningPlan and carry out customer-facing events (webinars, seminars, user groups)Align with internal teams on critical initiatives and monitor industry trendsDevelop localized marketing plans and leverage government funding opportunitiesCRM & ForecastingMaintain accurate Salesforce records and provide reliable forecastsTrack sales activities and ensure pipeline health and data integrityWho You Are:You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
