Staff Nurse - ICU (STAFF09424) Republic of Ireland
Salary: EUR38 - EUR56 per hour
Specialist hourly rates for specialist clinical work. Leading private acutes, HSE major teaching hospitals and national specialist centres. ICU, ED, HDU, endoscopy, cardiac, cath lab, recovery. Your post-grad and your years on the trolley properly recognised — and properly paid.
Emerald Nursing is recruiting experienced acute and specialist nurses nationwide. Our specialist book is concentrated in Ireland's flagship private acute hospitals and the HSE's largest teaching hospitals — across ED, ICU, HDU, endoscopy, cardiac and cath lab work.
If you have the qualification, the recent specialty experience and the clinical confidence for high-acuity work, we have placements and rates that the rest of the market struggles to match.
Benefits
Specialist hourly rates — post-grad qualifications and critical-care competencies command specialist tier rates. Never lumped in with general grades.
Major hospital sites only — the country's flagship private acutes (cardiac, oncology, orthopaedic specialists), the HSE's major teaching hospitals, national specialist centres.
Specialty depth — ED, ICU, HDU, endoscopy, cardiac, cath lab, recovery / PACU. The work that keeps your clinical edge sharp.
Earn more on nights and weekends — nights, weekends and bank holidays all pay above your standard hourly rate.
Weekly Friday pay — holiday pay and full clinical indemnity included as standard.
Total diary control — no exclusivity, no minimums. Block work, ad-hoc shifts, or specialty-only — all manageable.
Senior coordinators — you'll deal with people who understand the difference between an ICU shift and a med-surg shift, and won't waste your time matching you incorrectly.
