As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Crche Area Manager to oversee multiple childcare centres across the Munster region.
The Role As Area Manager, you will lead and support a portfolio of crche locations, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational excellence across all centres.
This is a strategic leadership position involving regular site visits, mentoring centre managers, and driving the consistent implementation of company policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple crche locations across the region Ensure full compliance with Tusla regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and all relevant childcare standards Lead, support, and mentor centre managers and their teams to deliver exceptional care and education Monitor and analyse occupancy, budgets, staffing, and overall centre performance Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and support staff training and development Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies Report directly to the Director of Operations / Senior Management Team Requirements Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) At least 5 years experience in a managerial role within the childcare or early years sector Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop staff Strong knowledge of Tusla regulations and national quality frameworks (Aistear and Solta) Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly A genuine passion for high-quality early years education and continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Performance-related bonus Ongoing professional development opportunities A supportive and collaborative senior leadership team Opportunities for career progression within a growing organisation How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter outlining their relevant experience and motivation for the role.
