About This Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the person appointed will have responsibility for leading the Maintenance & Utility teams, whilst delivering an asset care strategy to ensure engineering excellence is delivered through continuous improvement activities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for contributing to the achievement of site KPI’s by supporting production and packaging teams in the operation and maintenance of the site’s equipment, site services, and asset care. Continuous team capability building through active coaching to increase autonomy, and participation in key planned activities & projects.
2. Leads the Utility team, ensures team alignment, and is responsible for energy management on site.
3. Actively leads and champions the safety agenda for the line, leads safety improvement activities, further strengthening the safety culture.
4. Masters the TPM processes and Audits, as well as common team routes (PM).
5. Spare parts/stores management.
6. Organise outside contractors for specified tasks and PM's.
7. SAP /PO creation.
8. Assisting procurement with annual SLA’s and vendor contracts.
9. Shutdown planning for 3 areas between Jan – April in Brewhouse, Racking and Utilities.
10. Plan, control and execute CAPEX fund for equipment replacement.
11. Monthly BCS reporting to Global.
12. Active participation with the support hub west cluster and global PM community.
Education and Experience
1. Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in a team-based regulated manufacturing environment, An engineering qualification and experience of leading and influencing a team in engineering. (ie, Electrical or Mechanical).
2. Strong leadership skills, a confident and effective decision maker, with a proven leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.
3. Creative and empathic personality with a strong desire to achieve results together with others.
4. R&M & Energy budget management & commercial awareness.
5. CMMS experience preferable with PEMAC or MAXIMO.
