The Menlo Park hotel is recruiting a kitchen assistant to work with our breakfast chef in the preparation and serving of breakfast. This is a full time position working 5 days per week which may include weekends and bank holidays. Monday to Friday the start time is 6.30am and 7.00am on Saturday and Sunday.
Main roles and responsibilities
* The ideal applicant will have be familiar with general HAACP principles and have some experience working in a busy kitchen or busy deli.
* To assist the breakfast chefs to prepare, cook and present food to the required standards.
* To assist with the acceptance and storage of deliveries and that company procedures are adhered to for deliveries.
* Have good organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure
* The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Will have excellent customer care skills as will have direct contact with guests at breakfast each day.
* Be willing to work at the weekends and early starts.
* A Good level of written and spoken English required
Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland on a full time basis
