DRIVER / GENERAL OPERATIVEShanley Interiors, NavanFull-time, 45 hours per week | Immediate Start AvailableAbout the Role:We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Driver/General Operative to join our team at Shanley Interiors. This varied role combines delivery driving with hands-on assembly and installation work, as well as warehouse support.Key Responsibilities:∙ Deliver furniture and home interior items to customers' homes nationwide across Ireland∙ Undertake long-distance travel for deliveries when required∙ Assemble furniture professionally in customers' homes∙ Hang curtains, roman blinds, and window blinds∙ Hang pictures, mirrors, and other decorative items∙ Remove and dispose of packaging and old furniture as required∙ Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations∙ Assist with warehouse operations including receiving and dispatching stock∙ Load and unload delivery vehicles safely∙ Maintain delivery vehicle in clean and roadworthy conditionWhat We're Looking For:∙ Full clean driving licence (essential)∙ Comfortable with long-distance driving across Ireland∙ Hands-on experience with furniture assembly and installation (essential)∙ Excellent practical DIY skills with attention to detail∙ Previous delivery or driving experience preferred∙ Good physical fitness for lifting and carrying∙ Excellent customer service skills and professional manner∙ Ability to work independently and as part of a team∙ Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy∙ Flexible approach to varied daily tasksWhat We Offer:∙ Competitive hourly rate: €16-€18 per hour (depending on experience)∙ Full-time position: 45 hours per week∙ Opportunity for additional hours and overtime∙ Immediate start available∙ Varied and interesting work∙ Friendly team environmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €16.00-€18.00 per hourExpected hours: 45 per weekBenefits:Company eventsEmployee discountOn-site parkingStore discountWork Location: On the roadReference ID: Drivers job
