Financial Leadership Opportunity
Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Financial Controller, leading our financial reporting, compliance and control environment. This is a strategic position requiring strong technical accounting expertise, people management skills and commercial awareness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting across three entities operating in Ireland and the UK. They will ensure full statutory and tax compliance, provide high-quality financial insight to support operational performance and drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of complete monthly management accounts to trial balance for three entities
* Management of month-end close processes including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
* Supporting preparation of annual statutory financial statements in line with Irish and UK accounting standards
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical accounting capabilities, commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing multiple entities or sets of accounts concurrently.
· • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a financial accounting or controller-level role
• Proven experience delivering full month-end accounts to completion
• Strong working knowledge of Irish and UK accounting standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead/manage finance teams
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g Sage/Xero) & advanced Excel
