Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Expert to join our team. As a key member of our automation group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge automation solutions for the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision.
* Develop, test, commission and support machine control software.
* Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle.
* Provide technical direction and support to other controls team members.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in equipment automation - PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley.
* Expert knowledge of automated machine design, specification and development.
* Proven experience with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics etc.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proactive and energetic approach.
* Strong organisational skills.
* A quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to work well in a multifunctional team.
* Driving Licence and ability to travel (infrequent).
