Position OverviewcapeMBX is seeking an experiencedSenior Salesforce Developerto join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimising Salesforce solutions. They should possess deep technical expertise in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud), a strong background in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations, and be able to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on development, collaborating with business stakeholders, administrators, and other developers to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.This is a hybrid role with a mandatory three-day commitment based in our Dublin offices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce applications and customisations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and other Salesforce technologies.Lead technical design sessions and create detailed technical documentation.Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.Build and manage system integrations with external applications and platforms using APIs, middleware, and web services (REST/SOAP).Optimise system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform security best practices are followed.Mentor and guide junior developers, performing code reviews and promoting development best practices.Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.Ensure compliance with company standards, architecture guidelines, and data governance policies.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL.Proven experience with Salesforce integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, governor limits, and performance optimisation.Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins).Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or equivalent advanced certifications).Preferred QualificationsExperience with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud).Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.What We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for Salesforce certifications and professional development.A collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology.Flexibility (hybrid/remote work options available).
