Are you our next Email Marketing Executive
Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model. Grade: Officer Contract type: Permanent A snapshot of your peer group: Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, or a related field.3-5 years' experience in email marketing, preferably within a professional services or B2B environment.Proficiency in using email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools; experience with Marketo and Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and effective email content.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.Experience with marketing-specific tools like Adobe Analytics, AEM, and Dynamics 365 is a plus.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices in email marketing.Comfortable with editing and optimising HTML/CSS for email templates.A team player with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with various departments.Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us.
Here is what you can initially expect: Campaign Execution: Plan, develop, and execute email marketing campaigns via a centralised marketing automation platform, including thought leadership, seminar event invites, and client hospitality and sponsorship campaigns.Manage the end-to-end email campaign process, including content creation, design, deployment, A/B testing, and analysis.Audience Segmentation and Testing: Segment email audiences to ensure targeted and relevant campaigns.Conduct A/B testing to optimise email campaign performance and engagement.Performance Analysis and Optimisation: Monitor and report on email marketing performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.Analyse data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to optimise future email marketing efforts.Produce detailed reports based on key metrics, providing core messages and actionable recommendations to the team.Content Development: Collaborate with internal teams, including Account Managers, Design and Stakeholders to develop compelling email content.Ensure all communications are engaging, accurate, and aligned with KPMG's brand guidelines.Develop and maintain a calendar of marketing communications across markets, sectors, segments, and services.Database Management: Maintain and segment the email marketing database to ensure targeted, relevant campaigns.Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices in email list management.Ensure data integrity and quality by adhering to data governance principles, including data cleaning, validation, and management practices.Marketing Automation Tools: Utilise marketing automation tools and Dynamics 365, to manage and optimise email marketing campaigns.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, templates, and campaign configuration.Campaign Guidance and Support: Assist the CRM Manager in guiding the team on campaign execution, nurture programs, and Account-Based Marketing initiatives, including audience segmentation, testing, deployment, and continuous optimisation.Act as the primary point of contact on email campaigns, collaborating with marketing and other internal stakeholders to synchronise efforts and meet critical deadlines.Collaborate with the local Markets team on the ideation, implementation, and measurement of omnichannel nurture strategies to maximise activation, engagement, and retention across the entire prospect-to-customer journey.Foster an audience-first perspective for email campaigns; be the steward for data for audience management and selection.Metrics and Reporting: Ensure robust reporting is in place to gather and communicate comprehensive metrics on email marketing campaigns.Provide insights and data-driven recommendations for improving email marketing performance.Work with the CRM & Email team to support the development of nurture campaigns and workflows.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in email marketing, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.Provide training and support to team members on email marketing tools and best practices.Your team: This role sits within the central Markets team within KPMG (over 40 people), reporting into the CRM Manager and working with a busy and dynamic Digital Marketing team.
