Banquet Server
Overview
Activities of the banquet server include setting the tables per the banquet event order (BEO).
During a business meeting the server refreshes waters, coffee, or light snacks.
During a social event the server serves food and beverages or refreshes the buffet for guests.
See to the comfort of guests by answering questions, taking orders and relaying important special orders and allergies to the kitchen.
Responsibilities
Greeting each guest as they enter the venue to assist with finding their seat/place.
Assist in the preparation and the end of the banquet event.
Banquet service experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right person.
Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order.
Support other staff members.
Respond to guests in a professional and timely manner.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
