Job Title: Store Operations Manager
Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational management and leadership skills to manage day-to-day store activities, ensure high standards are met, and maintain a positive customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of cashier operators and handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to company procedures
- Open and close the store, ensuring that staff dress and appearance meet company policy
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislations to perform the job competently, including Health & Safety Regulations, Employment Legislations, and Consumer Law
- Ensure proper liaison between staff and management, maintaining the highest standard of customer care for all customers
- Assist in the induction, training, and development of staff in the store
- Ensure company rules, policies, and procedures are adhered to, and the adequate timekeeping and attendance of staff members
- Attend any training or development programs as directed by store management
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar Supervisor position
- Strong general leadership and people skills, excellent communication skills, and a solution-focused attitude with a high drive and positivity
- Customer focus, delivering excellent levels of service and resolving customer concerns effectively
- Personal drive, taking initiative and confidence in work, with attention to detail
- Integrity, honesty, and respect for colleagues, leading by example in teamwork and collaboration
