Logistics done differently.
We're currently looking for a Transport Planner to join our Logistics team based in Dublin. You'll be responsible for coordinating Irish, EU and UK transport operations, for our diverse customer base. You'll plan freight movements by road, rail and short sea container.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of €36,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. We offer a quarterly bonus scheme of up to 7%. You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Be responsible for accurately plan of import and export loads between Ireland and the EU/UK
* Co-ordinate with customers and suppliers to manage high service levels and optimising efficiencies
* Liase with the Finance team to ensure costs are accurately provided and invoice processing is initiated on time
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Ideally, you'll previous logistics or forwarding experience
* If you have experience with Ireland/UK/EU imports and exports this will be an advantage
* You'll have had exposure to dealing with customers and be customer services focused
* Be able to communicate at all levels and work on your own initiative
