The General Manager will manage our services on a large site, key client contract.
They will use their experience and skills to deliver services to the client in a cost effective and innovative way and where necessary provide the direction required to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard in order to maximise contract growth and ensuring contract retention by ensuring Aramark become a valued partner.
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the role holder will manage 3 commercial outlets in a busy healthcare environment.
They will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to our Client.
Technical Knowledge & Key Attributes
A minimum of 5 years' experience of outsourced service delivery at management level within a demanding environment including a proven track record in delivery of Food Services and hospitality
Third level qualification (HACCP/Culinary Arts/Professional Cookery)
Proven track record of strong people management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
The ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve agreed targets
Must be customer focused with excellent relationship building skills
Excellent PC skills including MS Office Word and Excel
Results orientated with proven ability to drive the business
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage successfully in P&L environments and ability to understand budgets
An excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP
Able to work on own initiative and as part of the team
Experience of solving problems and delivering solutions
A passion for service and quality
Good people management skills
Professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business
Understanding of profit and loss account management, budget managements
