**Job Summary**
The role of a Clerical Officer is to provide administrative support in a healthcare setting. This includes diary management, typing medical reports, and maintaining correspondence.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in the HSE. A current/valid HSE Garda Vetting clearance is also preferred.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Diary management
* Typing medical reports
* Maintaining and managing correspondence
* Monitoring and maintaining waiting lists
* Assembly of medical charts
* Arranging patient clinics
* Ensuring patient records are accurate and readily available
* Organizing and attending meetings as required
* Taking minutes at meetings and preparing for circulation
* Ordering goods and services as required
* Processing invoices as required
The successful candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail. Proficiency in IT/computer systems and MS Office applications is also essential.
The ability to travel to patient clinics in the surrounding area is required. The candidate must have own transport and a full driving license.
This is an initial 6-month contract job with opportunities for growth and development.
