Barden are delighted to be working exclusively with the Financial Controller of a highly regarded FMCG company in West Cork to identify a motivatedAccounts Assistantto join their team.This is ideal for a really strong accounts assistant to join a team where you'll have a lot of autonomyAbout the RoleAs Accounts Assistant, you'll work closely with a small and experienced finance team, getting exposure across core accounting areas including:Accounts payable and receivableBank reconciliationsAssisting with month-end processesPayrollAccounts prep to trial balanceSupporting VAT returnsGeneral admin and ad hoc finance tasks as neededAbout the PersonThis role is well suited to someone who is:Highly organised with strong attention to detailComfortable with Excel and financial systems (experience with Sage or similar an advantage)A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitudeBased in West Cork or open to commuting locally
