The successful candidate will operate as a Team Lead of the ESB Customer Solutions Analytics team, working closely with customer-facing business units to identify critical problems, understand data requirements, and develop robust technical solutions.
The applicant will lead solutions using technologies like SAP Business Warehouse, Hadoop, Azure Data Lake, and SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities Manage a team of data analysts to provide solutions across various business units, offering thought leadership on data analysis and solution creation.Conduct data analysis, collaborate with analytics and IT teams to gather information, build data pipelines, and implement data quality controls.Create visualizations, determine analytical requirements with stakeholders, and design solutions such as customer segmentation, trend analysis, predictive analytics, and insights.Work closely with stakeholders across Electric Ireland, Smart Energy Services, Telecoms, and ESB E-cars.Collaborate with departments like Operations, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Customer Service, Finance, and Pricing to define requirements and develop reporting solutions.Lead self-serve reporting initiatives, identify data sources, and coach users on data access and analysis.
Provide rapid responses to business needs through ad-hoc analysis and recommendations.Perform data modeling for large-scale customer behavior models and campaigns.Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.Third-level qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Maths, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.Experience in designing data visualizations in Power BI.Proficiency in SQL.Experience managing large, complex datasets.Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to present results clearly and professionally.Postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Data Analytics, Maths, or Computer Science.Team leadership experience.Data Science experience.Knowledge of SAP BO, BW, 4/Hana.Experience with R, SPSS, Python, PowerShell.Familiarity with Azure DevOps.Location This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry.
