Job Description – Sales Consultant for Study Abroad Programs
We are looking for a customer-focused, motivated, and talented sales professional to help drive sales and build strong relationships with clients, particularly within the Asian market.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the Sales Supervisor/Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:
* Building and managing relationships with prospective and existing clients based in Asia.
* Preparing quotations based on customer requests, increasing sales in your market, meeting targets, and enhancing the student experience.
* Communicating directly with customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings to answer questions and provide guidance.
* Supporting a multicultural range of English language students, building rapport, and maintaining clear, professional communication.
* Prospecting, approaching, and assisting customers to encourage enrolments.
* Conducting market research and promoting offers on social media to boost sales.
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
* Assessing customer needs and providing information about courses, studying in Ireland, and visa processes.
* Handling complaints with patience, professionalism, and empathy.
* Collaborating with colleagues across the Administration, Marketing, Academic, and Sales teams to deliver the best possible service to students.
* Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements
* Previous experience in Sales and a strong understanding of the Asian market, including cultural nuances and business practices.
* Upper-Intermediate level of English (minimum).
* Excellent customer service skills with strong communication, collaboration, and empathy.
* Ability to work independently with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
* Familiarity with international education and student visa processes is a plus.
* Analytical and numerical skills with the ability to define, analyse, and achieve sales targets.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and perform well in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
* Proficiency in Excel and good overall computer literacy.
Stamp 2 visa holders and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: €10,000.00-€20,000.00 per year
