OverviewEcommerce Manager (Maternity Cover) - Fixed-Term Contract – 12 MonthsPLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS BASED 5 DAYS A WEEK IN EVERGREEN HEAD OFFICE, GALWAYEvergreen Healthfoods is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead the performance and day-to-day management of our growing ecommerce business during a maternity leave contract. This role is responsible for driving online sales performance through effective digital trading, merchandising, customer journey optimisation and campaign execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Evergreen’s continued ecommerce growth across health, wellness, supplements and skincare categories. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a strong understanding of ecommerce operations, digital merchandising and customer behaviour.
Ecommerce Trading & PerformanceOwn weekly and monthly ecommerce sales performanceMonitor trading against revenue, conversion and AOV targetsIdentify risks and opportunities quickly and implement corrective actionsSupport seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional activityOversee platform stability and incident response ensuring issue with the site are dealt with swiftly
Website Merchandising & OptimisationOversee homepage, category and product merchandisingOptimise onsite search, filtering and product discoveryImprove customer journey and onsite conversion performance
Analytics & ReportingMonitor and report on ecommerce KPIsAnalyse performance trends and identify actionable insights
Product & Content ManagementOversee product launches, imagery and product contentEnsure product information is accurate, SEO-friendly and commercially effectiveWork with internal teams and suppliers to improve product storytellingSupport the development of SEO-rich blog and category content
CRM, Digital Marketing & Campaign ManagementOwn the ecommerce campaign calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing teamBuild, schedule and deploy email marketing campaigns through KlaviyoSegment customer audiences and support lifecycle marketing initiatives including promotional, automated and retention-focused email campaignsMonitor email campaign performance including open rate, click-through rate, conversion and revenue contributionBrief external agency partners on:Paid social campaignsPPC campaignsCampaign creativePromotional activityEmail marketing requirementsWork collaboratively with agencies to optimise campaign performance and ensure alignment with commercial objectivesSupport campaign launches with landing pages, collections, onsite merchandising and promotional contentCoordinate digital activity across ecommerce, email, paid media and social channels to ensure a consistent customer experience
Skills & ExperienceEssential5+ years ecommerce, digital trading or ecommerce merchandising experienceExperience with Shopify and KlaviyoStrong analytical and commercial mindsetExperience using GA4 and ecommerce reporting toolsStrong understanding of ecommerce campaign execution across email, paid social and PPCHighly organised with strong attention to detailExperience coordinating with digital marketing agenciesDesirableExperience with merchandising toolsExperience in retail, wellness, beauty or FMCGUnderstanding of SEO and content optimisation
