The Director of Nursing Role
This position is responsible for supporting the Regional Director of Nursing & Midwifery in providing strategic leadership and governance for Nursing & Midwifery functions.
Key Requirements
1. Candidates must be registered with the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
2. A minimum of 10 years post-registration nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a nursing management role at CNM 2 level or higher within a Hospital Group or CHO setting.
3. Successful completion of a post-registration programme of study at National Framework of Qualifications Level 8 or higher, or equivalent ECTS credits in a healthcare management related area.
