EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family run Irish retailer with stores operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing over 350 people.
EZ Living Furniture requires a part time studio assistant for our
Castlebar studio.
Responsibilities:
* Moving & assembling (disassembling) furniture regularly & set design for inhouse setups and styling
* Painting & maintaining a clean + organized studio space
* Keeping studios clean and maintaining operational standards
* Working closely with studio team in assisting them to build/disassemble sets for all of EZ living Furniture's website & media platforms
* Maintaining the warehouse/studio, repackaging furniture & equipment used on site
* Assist drivers with loading & unloading trucks of furniture as needed
Requirements:
* You will be a team player, hardworking and conscientious with strong motivational skills
* Experience of interiors and/or set design or visual merchandising is an added bonus but not a requirement
* Ability to assemble and disassemble furniture
* Work well in a fast paced & busy environment
* Strong organisational & time management skills
* Work well within a team and on your own initiative
* Strong communication skills
* Knowledge and experience in maintenance i.e. DIY
* Familiar with excel and computer systems
* Please note* this is a physically demanding role with a lot of lifting of furniture involved on a daily basis.
