Procurement Excellence Leader
We are currently seeking a Procurement Excellence Leader to support our client, a multinational company. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and quality in engineering output.
The successful candidate will oversee procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordination of purchasing at company level
* Supporting the Project Manager in defining and implementing the divisional purchasing strategy
* Implementation and further development of group-wide and division-wide Material Group Management
* Optimisation of replenishment times and implementation of a multi-supplier strategy
* Ensuring the availability of materials
* Optimising stock levels
* Leading on reduction in material costs
* Managing Purchasing Department staff
* Developing purchasing methods and tools
* Taking responsibility for purchasing control
* Leading in all purchasing project portfolio
Qualifications, Requirements, and Experience:
* 5+ years' of experience in procurement management
* Sound knowledge of procurement strategies
* Educated to degree level or hold relevant qualifications coupled with extensive experience
