EMR Integrated Solutions is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager.
This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based at our head office in Dunboyne, Co: Meath.
Overview;
The role of Business Development Manager is to promote and obtain orders/contracts/frameworks for EMR's portfolio of OT, SCADA, Service, telemetry and Communications solutions in the Irish and Northern Irish Water Utility Market.
Responsibilities;
* To meet and exceed the order intake target as set by management per calendar year.
* Build up a profile of each of the target clients, detailing contacts, roles and responsibilities, competition, budgets available and forecast accordingly.
* Maintain the current CRM database and ensure that the information contained is accurate and up to date.
* Agree with the BDM Team Lead, medium, and long-term objectives for each account and a target list and timescale for new business sectors and customers.
* Ensure that scheduled reporting is completed with monthly sales meetings and quarterly performance reviews within the sales team peer group.
* There will be a requirement to aid and support the marketing department in the preparation of materials required to support sales activity and business development.
* Ensure that the management team are provided with details of up-coming tenders in a timely manner. The preparation of tender responses is an essential component of EMR's business, and the role requires working with Sales Operations in EMR to prepare the most compliant and economical solution
* Provide quotations to customers and adhere to the value/margin approval matrix
* There will be a requirement to work with the Sales Manager and BDM Team Lead on specific account strategies from time to time
* SLAs and recurring revenues are a key component of EMR's business mix and specific objectives
* Prepare a budget on order entry value and targets in Q4 of each financial (Calendar) year for the following financial year.
Knowledge & Skills;
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or management is desired but not essential
* Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation, preferably in the utility sector OT, SCADA or Communications
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
* Experience with sales CRM tools an advantage
* Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
* Proven ability to plan and manage resources
