Job Summary
The Maintenance Team Leader plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our facility. As IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance lead, you will be responsible for guiding teams, facilitating process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
* Acting as IWS Maintenance lead and overseeing the execution of all maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Manager, both planned and reactive.
* Managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team with the Maintenance Manager, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks, scheduling work to most effectively meet the needs of production with minimal disruption.
* Attending regular team meetings to align with operational and company objectives.
About You
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
* Relevant City & Guilds qualification as a minimum (electrical preferable)
* At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven experience in a leadership position of a maintenance or engineering team
* Excellent people management and coaching skills
* Ability to manage a team and prioritise maintenance schedules effectively
* A comprehensive technical background and competence
