Systems Accountant, Manufacturing, KildarePermanentReference: 24631-AQWe are working on behalf of a client to recruit a Management / Systems Accountant to support the development of finance systems and deliver high-quality management and financial information to senior stakeholders. This role plays a key part in enhancing reporting capabilities, cost analysis, and business performance insight within a fast-paced environment.The RoleReporting into the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing reporting tools from the ERP system and producing accurate, timely management information to support decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance ERP-based reporting systemsPrepare and deliver weekly management reports, including reconciliations and variance analysisRegularly review and reset standard costs across the businessAnalyse material cost and usage variances against standard costsDevelop labour and overhead cost standards and report actuals against theseReview product costings in collaboration with product and business development teamsReview and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) with product development teamsProduce margin analysis across products and customers, supporting performance improvementAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesSupport ad hoc projects and financial analysis as requiredCandidate Requirements:Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant post-qualification experienceExperience within a data analysis, production, or manufacturing environmentProven experience working with large-scale ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central, SAP, or similarStrong knowledge of cost accounting and variance analysisAbility to identify, analyse, and report on key business performance indicatorsExperience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI is highly advantageousAbility to produce clear, concise, and insightful reports for a range of stakeholdersHighly motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approachStrong IT, systems, and analytical skillsAble to engage effectively with non-financial and operational teams, explaining financial concepts clearlyWilling to contribute ideas and drive continuous improvementStrong attention to detail and accuracyAble to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyInterested in this opportunity?Send your CV to Anne Quinn, Manager industry@accountancysolutions.ie or call Anne on 01-6797990To apply, please email your CV to Anne Quinn, our consultant managing this assignment via the email link below or contact01-6797990Please fill out your details below to be included on our regular newsletter mailing list.
