This is a highly strategic role in the EU Expansion Finance team, where you will be acting as a Finance leader ("CFO") for the recently launched Ireland (IE) Stores business, working in close partnership with the IE country manager. You will oversee and have the ability to influence the entire Stores business across all channels (retail, 3P), operations and supply chain. You will be responsible for all finance related topics with special focus on investment decision support, business performance management striving to grow the business while improving its profitability. You will also own one or more functional areas (such as Selection, Marketing or other) across all 5 EU Emerging Marketplaces (NL, BE, SE, PL, IE) supporting multiple Director+ stakeholders.

EU Expansion Finance is a team of ambitious country finance leaders ("CFOs") acting as business partners on a full range of finance topics and Functional Experts specialising on key strategic pillars operating across the EU Emerging countries.
Supporting new country business brings a whole range of exciting challenges covering a wide variety of topics driving customer experience, fast growth and improving profitability. It's a fast moving area with many opportunities to be creative and experiment with new approaches to drive real business impact.- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
