About the Role
We are seeking a professional, consultative salesperson to join our team and play a key role in driving growth across Ireland. This is a high-visibility position, reporting directly to the Managing Director (Ireland) and offering the opportunity to influence the company's future sales direction within a leading multinational organisation.
Initially, you will focus on managing and developing existing accounts, gaining a deep understanding of our sales processes and customer relationships. Over time, your focus will evolve toward new business development, identifying and securing new opportunities to expand our customer base across the island of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, cultivating and expanding long-term relationships.
* Manage after-sales activities, address customer needs, and resolve issues proactively.
* Identify and approach new customers, presenting opportunities to increase revenue and brand recognition.
* Develop and grow relationships with large corporate accounts, preparing proposals and negotiating terms.
* Collaborate with internal sales support teams to ensure seamless follow-up and execution of agreements.
* Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer needs; provide insights and recommendations to management.
* Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events as a visible brand ambassador.
About You
You have a proven background in professional sales, ideally within the packaging, pharmaceutical, or dairy sectors. You bring credibility, energy, and a commercial mindset to everything you do.

Requirements:
* Higher vocational education in a relevant field.
* 2–5 years' experience in a similar commercial role, ideally within a trade or industrial setting.
* Strong networking and commercial thinking skills.
* Good command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools.
* SAP knowledge is an advantage.
