Key Sales Position
This is a sales position that requires driving a truck on an established route, identifying new sales leads in the area, and providing a first-class service to customers. The role involves executing the business plan in conjunction with the sales manager, achieving sales, distribution, and promotional targets as directed.
Your Responsibilities:
* Ensure adequate supplies of stock availability across a listed range for our customer
* Drive the distribution and availability of our range
* Validate stock ordered to your truck each morning
* Control Sale or return of products in line with agreed limits
* Complete all necessary paperwork to an agreed standard
* Maintain company vehicles in a clean, tidy, and safe condition
* Feedback trade insights, competitor activity, retailer activity etc. to the Sales Manager
* Support company promotions and product launches in line with business needs
* Any Ad hoc duties that may be required to ensure smooth operations of the business
About You:
* Experience in a FMCG direct to store role would be desirable
* Full clean C1 drivers License - essential
* Up to date CPC card
* Strong communication and reporting skills essential
* Creativity & ability to work off own initiative as well as part of a team
* Proven ability to manage stocks
* A good sales instinct with ability to sell a variety of products
