Valeo Foods operates four manufacturing sites in Ireland
- Valeo Foods Cabra; which produces some of Irelands favourite brands across 4 production lines at our Cabra
manufacturing site.
- Valeo Foods Portarlington; which mills and supplies retail, food service and bulk flour demand
- Valeo Foods Mulhuddart; which packages bulk and large bag for food service customers
- Valeo Foods Broomhill Coffee Roastery; which produces 300 tonnes of coffee for key retail and b2b
customers
All sites have BRC AA or A ratings.
The business also owns 2 further manufacturing lines situated abroad in a Co-manufacturing facilty.
Valeo Foods Ireland seeks to appoint someone into the role of Continuous Improvement Manager. The central
purpose of this role will be to support the Manufacturing Operations in critical continuous improvement
processes.

Continuous Improvement Manager
Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager – Valeo Foods Ireland
Reporting To: Supply Chain & (Interim) Manufacturing Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead and implement process improvement
initiatives within our food manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Lean
principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and driving a culture of operational excellence and efficiency. This role will
be instrumental in reducing waste, improving product quality, and increasing productivity across our production
lines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with 4 site managers to deliver cost out projects.
• Lead and facilitate lean and other continuous improvement initiatives across production and operations.
• Analyze plant processes, identify opportunities for improvement, implement sustainable solutions and
promote a sructured problem solving approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders from across the
business
• Train and mentor staff on tools and techniques.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and impact of CI initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance, Finance & Operations) to
optimize processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Drive standardization and best practices across production shifts and departments.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action development for recurring issues.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
JOB Requirements
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s
preferred).
o Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a CI role.
o Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
o Hold a green or black belt Six Sigma qulification
o Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.
o Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
o Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
o Proficiency in MS Office and process improvement tools
